On a hunch I dipped strips of paper into each bulk ink bottle to test their tonality. I found that the "dilute cyan" ink was much darker than the cyan ink. This also was evident when I printed a nozzle check page. I called Helix Camera (who sold me the inks) and they checked their dilute cyan -- it was also darker than the cyan. I spoke with Dustin at Photofile, the distributor, and he determined that my dilute cyan bottle was mislabeled -- it contained "black" ink! They are going to send me another bottle, this time with the correct ink in it. If anyone is having problems with their quad black inks, you might want to test your inks with paper strips to see whether they might be mislabeled. Jim
