I just got some UT-FSN but haven't loaded it into a printer yet, but from just swabs the ink color is quite nice as is. It's only slightly cool and very slightly magenta. Not at all like the very cold UT2 cool grays. So, it's close to neutral where as the pure carbons are fairly warm. If you want to go this septone route I'd probably recommend getting the UT-FS for the wams rather than original UT1 grays just because the densities will match the UT-FSN. If you like the pure carbon color I'd say the combination would probably make a nice range of color. Personally I would like a more reddish warm rather than yellowish warm of the pure carbons -- but that's just me.
