I thinking of QTR running on Linux, although I see from past messages that
this is a bit of a wing-and-a-prayer job. Still, I'm supposed to be a software
developer (albeit with more Windows experience than Unix) so if I can't get it
going then it's a bit of a bad showing ;o)

Which OS are you using? If you're using a Mac you have both QTR and IJC
available that allow you to play with custom inksets. On PC there aren't
yet any affordable RIP's available that will let you control the
indivdual ink channels.
