Probably the softer art papers are more fragile in this regard. I can only say that my heavily handled books printed on German Etching and William Turner do very well compared to extremely fragile Phot Rag prints done with Ultrachromes. The Cone Quadtone BW inks I use just do better period. My goal someday soon is to set up an Ultrachrome printer and use the Cone Portfolio black as a replacement to Epsons black!
