Even though it is not a guarantee, I would think since the deal was posted at: http://www.edealinfo.com/DDCateg/printers.shtml#040612D2 that the deal would be legitimate. Even though the deal may sound too good to be true, I've run across deals like this before, usually on items that are getting ready to be discontinued. My thoughts are that Maufacturers sometimes offer deals like this with short expiration dates knowing that only a small percentage of folks actually take advantage of them. Also, with printers most of the profits are made with the inks (look at Lexmark); to me it looks like Epson is trying to dominate the market knowing the money will come back to them after one or two purchases of ink carts. Any way even without the $50 rebate, $64 including shipping, handling and tax isn't a bad deal. Good things usually come to those who expect them!
