Folks: First, I HAVE searched through the forum for this topic, but did not wind up with any info that is satisfactory. Here's my question: I am considering a return to B&W inkjet printing after taking a 2-3 year break. I had the Piezography system running on an Epson 1160 back then, but it was too frustrating (perpetual ink clogging, banding, proprietary software) so I gave up on it. Piezography is back with new ink sets that I believe have solved many of these issues. But I see that the "starter kits" are substantially more money (I think?) than what you can get with the MIS inks. So... does anyone have experience with both? If so, can you tell me what Piezography offers for the extra money? From the sounds of it, the MIS UT2 inks are easier to install and use, and apparently turn out great results. Thanks!
