I've found, on my Minolta DiMage 7, which has an electronic viewfinder, that the display is a pretty good guide to exposure, although not to color. I've found that turning the polarizer to max sky darkening is fine for B&W, but generally overdone for color, so for the latter you'll have to learn how much to back off the filter from max by looking at the image later on your computer. -- Ciao, Paul D.
