Randy, I think Ernst advice about the Epson scanners is sound. I am quite happy with Silverfast but never could get Vuescan to work well for me. I have the 2450 and I made several test scans of 35mm and printed to 13x19" just to test and was blown away with how well it did. The wet mount makes all kinds of sense to me, but not the time to implement since I got my digital camera.
