hello......Call me weird, but I just dont like fancy fine art papers all that much. I like the photograpg look of a lustre surface. I guess it might be because everytime a show someone a really nice print on museo, or museum parchment, they say..."wow!...did you do this at kinkos?!?!"....( kinkos is a xerox place)... So my question is, being new to black only, Does anyone use a lustre paper with BO? I am using the epson ink in my 1280, and it seems to look great with epson colorlife and ilford classic pearl. Many say these papers are identical. I admit that with ilford smooth pearl, the ink is pretty red in the shadows, but not with the others. I used to use lyson quadblacks, and BO is way better in my opinion. Shouldnt the lifespan be pretty good with Colorlife? I am resisting the idea of using the MIS black because I dont want to deal with clogs. Plus I want to be able to print color occasionally. (although I never seem to) .....I'm just a guy starting out, so any info is great. I have seached the archives a good bit also. Thanks, Doug M
