RE: [DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint] hi everyone

Hi John,

Get the Epson Roll Paper Holder part no C811061 (in the UK) - it costs about
?22 over here. So far, I've only ever used Epson Photo paper in the rolls
with it... I now have a 7000 however, so I have even less reason to use it!
I think I will still aim to use cut-down sheets where possible though.
Flattening out the paper before printing can be a drag, and risks damaging
the paper. I think that A1 sheets (goodness knows what you can get in A1
sheets???) would give you two strips of the noted dimensions??? I just
checked a UK Hahnemuhle price list, and they skip from A2 to 36" rolls. By
the way, Epson Panoramic paper is A2 cut in half length-ways - I quite like
the format and size - but am planning something similar to yourself for
larger prints.

Can't answer you about anything else, but I am starting to get to grips with
Somerset Enhanced Velvet for some of my softer images.

I like it!

I guess a lot of you will know me from other lists, but here's a 'hi'
anyway. Thanks to Martin for starting this list...as soon as I heard about
it I knew it was a good idea.

I use the piezo inks on an 1160 run off a Mac... I *was* printing mainly on
EAM and Somerset Enhanced but since EAM now apparently goes green I need to
find another main sqeeze.

Here's a question someone may be able to answer: what's the best paper
available in rolls? I have some panoramas I want to print BIG, like 12"x36".
and how do you feed it into an 1160?
