The Moab Experience River Trip and Seminar

2004-08-03 by Gregory Schern

Hello Group! Thought you would like to know about our upcoming
event. If you ever needed an excuse to come out to Moab, this is the
perfect opportunity.

MORE INFO www.moabpaper.com/site/experience2004

"The Moab Experience is your chance to combine education with
inspiration during Moab Paper's guided river raft trip and photo
expedition through spectacular Canyonlands National Park in
September. The journey begins with a condensed version of the
Professional Digital Imaging Association's (PDIA
www.greatoutput.com) Maximizing Profits in the Digital Darkroom
Seminar Saturday, Sept. 11 in Moab, Utah. The seminar covers some of
the technical fundamentals for printing and finishing your own
images.

Spend the next four days, September 12-15, on a guided full service
journey with a small group of photo enthusiasts on the Colorado
River through spectacular Cataract Canyon. This incredible
whitewater and scenic trip departs from Moab and travels through the
heart of Canyonlands National Park and terminates at the northern
reaches of Lake Powell. Moab President Greg Schern (a photography
enthusiast himself), has lined up a first-class photo expedition
through some of the most scenic areas of the West. The discounted
price of $599 for the river raft trip includes all meals and
logistics once in Moab and includes the PDIA Seminar a $99 value.
The trip will be handled by World Wide River Expeditions
(www.worldwideriver.com) Travel to and from Moab is not included.
Because the tour operators handle the rowing and steering of the
boats and all meal preparation, photographers can concentrate on
taking great images."
