Hello Ben,
I did not flame anyone. Since you took it personally, I will refer specifically to your post (you say this was your first post asking for advice) this morning:

trashing their printers. "
I believe you are reaching the wrong conclusion and publicly criticizing a good product and good people (Cone, Nij etc). I for one do not consider myself a Beta tester for PiezoBW inks. I am a happy satisfied user. And there are many of us out there getting great results. As for the PiezoBW product being launched "too early" I would completely disagree with your statement. The PiezoBW has produced uncounted thousands of images for hundreds of users since its introduction. The software is in continual improvement (thanks to Cone and Bergh) and I would expect that from any software product.
Even if I were an "unpaid Beta tester" I would be happy if I continued to get the great fine art prints from beta inks or beta software. In fact, most people on this list (in my opinion) would willingly volunteer to be the first kid on the block to try out the new toys or inks or whatever. Most of us enjoy the challenge of leading edge technology and we enjoy producing great images on the desktop. Life on the frontier is not for everyone.
I am sorry you have had problems you can't solve. That happens in all areas of life. Your experience with Piezo may not have met your expectations. But that does not mean the product or service or people who use it or sell it are not of the highest quality and without a track record of success and service. Some of us are getting great prints with Piezo. I encourage you to try again. IF you don't want to...that is your decision to switch or change. Just don't whine about it and falsely claim that the product is faulty or that you were somehow cheated.
Good luck,
Steadman
Oh yeah...peace be with you too.

I assume you refer to my recent post.
First, I was not whining. I joined this list to seek advice. I have had
a bad experience with Piezo. Are you suggesting that only good postings
on a product should appear?
Jez, my first posting asking for advice on the alternatives is greeted
with a flame.
Peace be with you,
Ben.
