Thanks Alejandro. The lens is available now at B&H for $1799. Eight thousand is in my opinion way out of line for a digital camera with only 4.2 megapixels. You can get the 6 megapixel Contax or the Kodak 760 for less. Or the nikon DX. I know the new D1 is going to be a dream camera, but for that kind of money it must be at least, at the Very least, 6 megapixels.
