Gordon, If you've installed the download according to Roy's instructions and didn't change any of the default file settings, that part of the setup should be OK. If you did change them, you might have to go back and put the files and folders in the right order in the right path. Following that, you MUST have a network adaptor of some kind installed in order for QTR to work. If you have no adaptor on your system, do a search for "Loopback Adaptor" in this group or via Google; it is what you need to install and setup for QTR to work. Finally, once that is working, I suggest that you also load Stephen Billard's QTR GUI as it makes changing settings much easier. Again, that program MUST be in the right folder in order to work and you can't use a "Shortcut" to it (at least not in the version I have). If you are stuck at any specific point, please write me off list at kolwicz@... and I'll try to help. QTR is worth all this effort, believe me. Frank PS: I would have suggested searching this Yahoo group for all this info, but Yahoo's search engine is so useless, that I couldn't find most of the links you need and I have a pretty good idea of what to search for. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "gwpeffer" <gpeffer@v...> wrote: > Can anyone who has installed QuadTone RIP for Windows please post > detailed installation instructions.
