Thanks Paul. I have managed to improve it somewhat but basically the leading jets for the magenta ink are not firing properly. I am giving it another "windex" soak now. BTW the MIS purge chart is not really that effective. For those who want to, you can create your own purge chart with QTR's inkseparation_uc.psd because you can have a line for each colour (rather than the composite generated by the MIS chart - magenta seems to be needed for their LK, C amd Lm columns in addition to the M column...unless I am doing something terribly wrong). This has the added advantage of being able to turn the other colours off when pursuing a persistent blockage on one colour. > From: Paul Roark <paul.roark@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Tue, 14 Sep 2004 08:34:42 -0700 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: RE: [Digital BW] Blocked nozzles on a 2100 > > > When I see ink spraying out to the sides, I think there may be junk on the > surface of the head, deflecting the jet.
