Be sure the "Color Management" section of the driver is set to "No Color Adjustment" if you are using the curves. Due to this issue, many of us use the Photoshop preview function outlined at http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/Monitor-Profiling.htm to coordinate the monitor and print densities.
