As you may know, there is three kinds of Bicubic interpolation in
Photoshop: B. Smoother and B. Sharper being the other two. 

Then there is Lanczos interpolation. To try it for free, download
Picture Windows Pro from www.dl-c.com. As everything can be done in 16
bits in PWP, you can compare the results with Photoshop.
