You can do the same thing, and many other things, with much more user control, with QTR, for $50. Also InkJetControl will allow the same sort of B&W output with UC inks and has more user control sorry to be so dumb, but what are UC inks? And what is QTR for $50? And isn't one of the benefits of colorbytethat is that so many inks and papers are profiled ? I have heard that they will run one if they don't have it. Of course they are canned, but at least it's the ball park. I have tried UT7, and I cannot get it to look as good as my piezographic prints, which seem to have a much better spread (longer straight line on a H&D curve) of low and high end values.
