Having tried various options I've found two solutions for printing to your 2100/2200 via QTR without having to set up loopback adapter on non-network pc's. 1. Go into printer properties and click on the ports tab. Select 'printer pooling' which then allows you to select lpt3 (as well as your existing usb connection). If you then try printing from QTR you still get the net use error messages but it prints fine (does on my Win2000pro machine anyway). You can edit the quadtoneprint.bat file and rem out out the net use lines to stop the error messages appearing. 2. Leave your existing connections as they are and plug a parallel cable in as well. Then edit the quadtoneprint.bat file and alter the imagetoraster line to show >LPT1 instead of >LPT3. Save the bat file and try printing. This assumes you don't have a different printer already connected to lpt1. I would be interested to hear from other users who find either of these methods work for them. All the best.
