Digital BW, The Print

I just set up an Epson 1200 with Piezzotone Carbon Sepia as one of my alternatives for 
experimenting with inksets. I don't have the curves designed for this printer and the 1270 
profiles or the canned 1200 profiles ( which are better) both give me a lot of posterization 
in the mid and lower midtones. When I try to design my own curves visually with a 21 step 
grey scale, that doesn't do the job either, still posterizing beyond acceptability.

Now, since I bought it, I am going to set up QTR for this printer and a 7000 also. Are there 
any predesigned curves supplied with QTR that you guys would suggest trying first before 
I have to have a custom linearization made.
