Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

I am wondering if the chips on this epson4000 are the same as the 7600. In other words, can we really use the 7600 carts for this printer ? MIS is saying yes, but until someone else tell no with good reasons, I would prefer to know why first if its apply.
As I have only one printer of this size, I am hesitating whether keeping UC and have color printing possible or switch totally B&W using UT.
In order to get really neutral B&W result with UC, I would probably need a RIP but even tho, would it be neutral ?
With UT, I need to flush clean the noozles it is a 192$ expense just for cleaning, then I have the eight cart to place in, which one would it be ? UT are not very much cheaper than UC.
If any one have clear answers to this wonders, he would be of great help, thanks.
