John, I just got an Epson 4000 and when I ordered it I found out that the Epson drivers have a conflict with the generic epson drivers (which are not really epson drivers, but substitutes) installed when you install Panther. The recommendation was to put the epson folder that is in the printer folder in the library file into the trash, empty it, restart your Mac and then install the drivers that come directly from Epson. I don't know if the same problem applies to the 2200, but it might. It could be worth a try. I would also wait until after the Epson driver installation to intall OTR.
