In Photoshop select the menu item Image:Image Size. Set the document size to the size you wish. You may or may not want to un-check the "Resample Image" box. It depends on the resolution of the image. The final resolution should around 200-300 pixels per inch, but is not too critical. If you want an easier way to get images the size you want when you print, check out Qimage from www.ddisoftware.com. It will resize the images to your desired output size with one of the best resampling methods available. Easiest way to use Qimage and QTRgui is to have QTRgui monitor a folder and use the print to file feature of Qimage and print into the monitored folder. Just remember when doing this that you want the "page" size to be the size you want the image, not the size of the paper you are printing on. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen > -----Original Message----- > From: faker_404 [mailto:longbow@...] > Sent: Sunday, October 17, 2004 7:32 AM > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [Digital BW] Quadtone RIP and image size on paper > (epson 2100) > > > > > > Hi, > > I've mapped my Epson 2100 through Quadtone RIP with the correct > profiles downloaded from the web - installation as per the standard > described in the readme. > > Now my problem - I can print, but the image takes up only a fraction > of the paper.
