Thanks for the advice. I believe after three days of cleaning I may have the problem solved. 
I too experienced the nozzles cleaning up and then being clogged in different patterns 
while using the head leaning utility. I went through the complete process of bottyom 
cleaning the heads and syringing windex through each head nozzle. After going through 2 
sets of UT2 cartridges the clogs seem to have gone away. 

Questions:
1. What procedure should be used if leaving the printer off and unattended for a matter of 
weeks?

2. If you are not using a 1280 anymore, what printer do you suggest using for the UT2 
inksets?
