Re: [Digital BW] How Best to Scan older BW Negatives

2004-10-24 by sinwen

I am using this scanner since it arrived on the market, I had few problems which have been solved and now I am very pleased with it. Neg and Chrome from 120mm and above formats, 4x5, come out beautifully, just don't expect anything from 35mm because this scanner isn't design for it.
From 120mm , 17x22 prints are crips sharp, best buy for the money.

Coincidentally, Paul, that's the scanner I just purchased last week! There's
currently a $50 rebate for the photo version. I seldom scan negatives and
haven't tried scanning a negative yet. In fact, I've barely had time to
break it in. If my friend decides to scan the negs himself, I can let him
  experiment with my new scanner.

  Thanks for your suggestion.
