Go buy an Apple Airport Express and plug it into the wall (power socket) next to the printer and connect the printer to it via the USB cable connection. Configure the wifi (either as a new network or as a repeater to an existing wifi network) and you are done. $129 works like a dream. Your computer will need a wifi card but these are pretty standard these days so I assume you likely have that already. I just did this yesterday and was done in 5 minutes from opening the box. That was with an Apple computer and a Windows laptop - they can now share the printer.
