Digital BW, The Print

I just created a flattened image from four seperate images for output to a
single 8.5x11 sheet. All images were sized and set to the same resolution,
then pasted to a new image set up with the same resolution (360) at a size
of 8.5x11. each pasted image was 4.5x3, and all four easily fit onto the new
8.5x11 sheet. I then flattened the new image and sent ot out to QTR (via
QTRgui - I'm on XP Pro).

The problem is it's printing each image as an individual image. This seem a
bit wierd since it's really now a single composited image...or is it?
Anybody have any ide what might be happening?
