In my driver I check ICM and then NCA. The Gamma box does disappear.
Use "Print with Preview" and be sure your Color Management shows a Source
Space of Gray Gamma 2.2 (assuming it's a grayscale file), and the Print
Space is "Same as Source." Also, if you've ever used a Transfer Function,
check that there is none being applied. Check the Output in the Preview box
and then the Transfer Function. It should be a straight line -- i.e., none
there.

No, at least not yet. Try to get the system working with a paper that is
profiled first. Then take a shot at modifying the curves just by visual
comparison of test strips. The newer curves are much easier to modify than
the old ones.
