Digital BW, The Print

-Misallignment problem with MIS quad Black ink:

After converting an optimized Grayscale to RGB and 16 bits, I 
use "curves" to laod my selected profile. Then under mode, I change 
back to 8 bits and print.

Black is printing slightly low, leaving a 0.001 to 0.002 inch ground 
crack (showing paper base white). The misallignment is "high\low", 
not the left\right allignment correctable by the Epson 3000 utility.
