Digital BW, The Print

I have been using QTR and QTRgui with Windows XP for some time now 
to make B&W prints with UT-2 inks on an Epson 1280 with generally 
excellent results. Only occasionally will I get crossed up and have 
my printer produce something totally unexpected in terms of print 
size and/or margin placements. To get better process control to 
prevent these occasional errors and at the same time possibly even 
get better quality prints, I thought I would give Qimage a try. 
However, I simply can't seem to figure out how to make it work. I've 
read and reread the "help" file without any sucess. So my question 
is: Can anyone out there head me in the right direction to find some 
simply worded workflo instructions on how to use Qimage to properly 
size a TIFF image with defined margins to fit correctly on a given 
paper size so that when I open the file in QTRgui and send it to QTR 
the print will come out of the printer properly sized and placed on 
the page where expected with the designated margins?
