Thank you for the help.  The printer profiles are now installed in 
the correct location and the printer is producing output, yet it 
looks terrible and I am sure it is due to some mis-step in my set-
up. I have tested by printing the same  image from QTRGUI and 
directly from QTR and the output is the same - the image is blurry, 
choppy, almost indistinguishable from the original image. It also 
places the image along the bottom edge of the letter size page, even 
when I select center image in QTRGUI.When I print from Photoshop 
through the Epson driver directly, the output is fine. It is a 
grayscale .tif in 8 bit. I have included the lines from QTR DOS when 
I print the image. One line mentions that a network connection can 
not be found on LPT3 - this is where I have my loopback adapter. Is 
this the issue? Checking the status of it, it staes that it has 
limited or no connectivity. Again, it is a WIN XP Home machine. Any 
help is appreciated --
