The easiest way to see the effect of these sliders is to make a few
prints of the 21 step wedge from one of the QTR folders while moving
the the sliders around a few times. In general the ink adjustment
affects the first few steps of the wedge, darkening them when you
plus the adjustment and lightening them when you minus it. I don't
have a reflection densitometer but to me it looks like only the first
two to eight or so steps are affected depending on the strength of
the adjustment. The gamma adjustment is a little less clear to me. By
referring to "midtones" it implies that only the midtones are
affected but just from looking it seems to do what you would think
any gamma adjustment would do, i.e. affect overall contrast in that
both ends of the wedge are affected as well as the middle.
