Thanks, Steve.  Not to be a dolt, but are you
referring to compressed or uncompressed?  I'm
generating jpegs (maybe I shouldn't be--maybe tiffs
instead?), but the uncompressed sizes (ie. what PS
lists in the bottom left hand corner with ???/??? MB
are usually around 900/900 or 1000/1000.
