If you search the archives, you'll find a range of problems with BO on a 2100. Many of us have had problems, but not always the same problem. I don't recall seeing yours mentioned before. In my case (XP SP1) the prints were *way* too light. I was fairly certain that what happened was that printer driver had done a separation into CYMK, and just printed the K channel using the black cartridge. This was with the 5.3 driver. I installed the 2200 5.4 driver, and BO worked. I've since given up on BO and am using QTR(Gui) instead. It's possible that the latest 5.5 drivers do BO properly (if not the 2100 version then perhaps the 2200 still will), but I haven't bothered to try. I think that many people doing BO on a 2100 on a PC are resorting to using the 2200 drivers.
