Digital BW, The Print

I thought I would throw this out, to the list,
to see what pro's and con's on this two products..

If I'm just working with digital photo's / scanning or from a compact 
flash memory,
is there a need for the full blow PS ?

I heard some good things about elements 3.0?
Can it do more in the regards to photo editing, than PS?
or perhaps can it do more easier?
