Digital BW, The Print

I'm using the latest QTR and QTR gui with my 1280 on an XP Home
machine.  I'll launch the QTR gui, turn on the 1280, drag the tif file
to the gui and the printer starts moving the 8.5 X 11 paper through. 
The problem is that it doesn't stop.  It'll go right through without
printing.  I then have to play around by deleting the job, turn the
printer off and on and try again.  Sometimes it works sometimes it
doesn't.  When it works I love the results.

There's no indication of a problem in QTR and all settings are
correct.  I've tried turning the printer on first before QTR or
turning both on and then turning one or the other off and on again. 
It's weird there doesn't seem to be any pattern.  Anybody have this
problem or know of a possible reason?
