Digital BW, The Print

I have saved tif images from photoshop CS, having adjusted image size 
first. When I print one image it is fine, very good in fact. The 
other prints only a small section (but the size that the whole image 
should be) and hugely enlarged. Both files are 300 dpi. What am I 
doing wrong?
