But Kodak's management is stupid. Kodak's Dr. Bayer invented the Color Filter Array. I'm pretty sure they came up with the original AA filter in the 520 also. Single shot, non -Foveon cameras without AA filters or "chip wigglers" like the Sinars look like crap, including the Kodak 14n, SLRn, c, and the latest Kodaks, which is a big mistake on their part. The latter my opinion, not a fact, which was formulated after shooting Jay Kelbley's (former lead digital camera dog at Kodak) personal camera and all the "fixem in firmware" updates. I have owned, tested, utlized all of Kodak's digital product in the last 10 years and have made millions of files from them (still do). No brag, just a qualifier for my opinions.
