I\ufffdd like to hear from you folks, that already use MIS inks - and I hope there is someone who uses the same printer, too (an useful, but old 850). Last monday my MIS quadtone inkjet refill kit arrived. At the night of that day, I followed the instructions literally (except for the use of bottom fill adapter, that never came), taking about 1 hour - not so long, for the first time. Next day, I started the purging and cleaning cycles process. 3 CC, always with nozzle checks, and the print always showed many clogged nozzles. OK, let it rest, 3 more CC, and the same result. In the night, another shot, and repeat. Next day (wednesday), first thing when arrive on studio, another shot. Well, better nozzle checks, but not perfect. I printed some files (10X15cm, no more than 10 ones), using some curves from the MIS site, just to see the results (and hoping that the more ink through the heads, the cleaner they\ufffdd be), knowing that I\ufffdd see banding -which actually happened. Tired of this, I let it go, and wait for the next day (thursday). Then, on the first print of the day, the Color ink light starts to blink! I mean, I had not printed more than, say, 5 8X11 prints (in amount of ink), and the ink is gone! I let the refilling procedure to be done in the night, again. Friday, cartridges filled, aged, installed, and the nozzle checks are getting better - but never perfect. The last check of the day, about 19:00, was almost good, as much as following print. OK, weekend, let\ufffds see it on monday. Today, I\ufffdm wondering if I really should keep trying. The prints are WAY worse, even after 3+1 CC. Is there something I\ufffdm doing wrong? Let me tell that the printer was in very good conditions, the heads are "as good as brand new", (words from the tecnician that revised it before I install the quads), and a nozzle check with color inks before these days showed no clogs. The printer was actually barely used, because I use to deliver CDs instead of printed paper. Can someone of you help me? Thanks in advance, Rodolpho Pajuaba Rodolpho Pajuaba www.pajuaba.com.br
