I've made a slight modification in the UT-FSN+ inkset for the older large format printers. All inks are now either off-the-shelf MIS inks, or they can be easily mixed from off-the-shelf inks. For details, see my Readme web page at http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/7500-FS-Readme.htm . The main change was to make the LC ink a mix of MIS UT-FSN-M and EZ-N, with a bit of EZ-W to get the hue/coolness equal to the other "neutral" inks in the inkset. (EZ-N is cooler than FSN because the EZ-W carts are available to easily control the tone (hue).) The change also facilitates the ability to fine tune the inkset for different degrees of coolness or warmth by having equal density but different tone inks available for each of the ink positions. Mixing these and filling 7500 carts is very easy. Curves for the papers I think are among the best have also been posted. These were made for the 7500 driver and should work for the 9500 also. 7000-9000 curves will follow in a while. I think this inkset approach gives these older printers a major lease on life. The ability to print on matte or glossy papers without changing the inks is a huge advantage. Paul www.PaulRoark.com <http://www.paulroark.com/> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
