Steve, I didn't install the Epson ink. I installed the MIS in a "virgin" C86. If you do this, you may have to run a few cleanings before you get a good print. If you do 3 cleanings in a row, make a print or 2 before running another cleaning cycle. I used quite a bit of the "black" in before I had "trouble free" printing, but it was WELL worth it. Also, I had to turn off "High Speed Printing". I used Paul Roark's suggested starting point and the made one adjustment since. Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper looks awesome (I'm a portrait photographer). I'm going with the re-fillabe carts next. If you like the results, I'm sure you'll go with re-fillabe carts to.
