The prints are fabulous looking ! Amazing variation between paper with everything else the same, the "colors" of black really have different looks / tonality to them - wow ! I've been following the other thread on this, I have a yellow and a black that have gone "empty" with approximately 4 8x10's and a purge. The yellow went from 76% to zero immediately after a power cycle on the printer - so I am pretty sure it's defective chips. Thank you to all who contribute - I really enjoy everyone's information and questions it really helps. I've done a swap where I took an OEM chip for black and replaced the chip on the inksupply cart. BTW the hole at the top of the chip is of a different size from OEM, not a bi thing but I had to enlarge the oem chipo hole very very slightly. This has given me a 100% reading - although false it's better than empty. Since last night I just replaced the yellow, I'll see if the second yellow exhibits the same behavior. This is a temporary fix until I get to the bottom of this. Looks like inksupply.com is closed until Jan 3rd, so I cannot follow up with them until then. What a cool system. Also - does anyone have a good handle on the expected # of 8x10's - borderless for these ink sets ? I haven't searched for this data, just being lazy :-) 73's [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
