Scott: Thank you very much for the info. I am new to the digital domain. I have a canon g5; canon i 960 for color prints, and the c86 for b&w. I am still getting the hang of the g5, and am looking forward to getting into b&w. That was always my first love. Years ago I had a couple of nikon F's and bought tri x in 250 ft rolls, did my own processing, etc. The prospect of all of this being done without a darkroom is awesome. One other quick question, not to ramble too much here, but I do not have photoshop. I have an older computer that upgrading to xp isn't really a viable option. I do have elements 2.0 and am considering picture window pro, since one does layers, and the other does curves. Would that make sense (given the current budget), to at least begin learning the basics of digital editing etc. Also, am curious about the conversion to b&w. Sorry to rant and ramble here. Any input you could give would be greatly appreciated. Steve --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security. So do we.
