There are several log files created by QTR. What is the contents of these files? What OS are you running? What printer? If the image disappears quickly, that is usually some kind of problem starting up QTR from the GUI. Set DEBUG in QTRgui and see if there are any error messages shown in the DOS window for QTR. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen > -----Original Message----- > From: elitephotolv [mailto:elitephotolv@...] > Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 2004 11:16 AM > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [Digital BW] New Quadtone RIP and GUI doing nothing > > > > > > Hello, > I just downloaded and installed the Windows version of Quadtone RIP > and the GUI v 2.1.7. > > Until now, I used the old way of dragging the icon to the batch file > and got a wonderful print. > > Now howver, I am trying to use the GUI and when I try to print using > this interface, I get absolutely nothing. > > I click image, select the approptiate image (grey scale, tif 8 bit > that printed with the old method) select the appropriate paper I am > printin on, click the Print button and the image disappears from the > preview window and that's it.
