Thanks for confirming. They are not telling the truth, maybe they are
unaware of the problem. I still have the leftovers from my previous
set of inks so I can prove it.
I believe, in an atempt to get the best compromise output using Epson
drivers they kept adjusting the tones of the inks. I noticed on their
website they give 2 different descriptions of UT2, an older one, "It
can produce tones from full sepia to full cool" and a more recent, "It
can print sepia tones, where the original Ultratone ink could not. It
also can be used with just the Epson sliders to produce warm to
neutral tone prints".
I personally hate sepia at least with the kind of images I print but I
like to have some wormth in the highlights.
Maybe Paul Roark who actually figures out these mixes could shed some
light on this. I have yet to hear from MIS which are on vacation.
Trouble is, if I get new inks I would have to get new carts too.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
