I use MIS inks on an Epson 1290 and have used Epson printers to make black and white prints for years, but discussions about non-Epson related technologies tend to die quickly on this group if they ever get started at all. Now I also have a DesignJet 130 and am struggling to make BW prints with that and it would be interesting to share experiences about non-Epson printers. So give it a try.
