Strickly B&W? No bigger than 13x19" prints? The 1280/90 is a no-brainer. If I had known (seen with my own eyes) how good my C86 and MIS EZN inks were ahead of time, I would have gone ahead and bought the 1290. It prints as big as the 2200 but cost only about half as much. Now, I need to find someone with a Costco membership to get some Kirkland....!
