The beta version consolidates all the logs into one log file. It will also notice if there are errors reported in the log and display those errors in a window. There seem to be a lot of advantages to getting rid of the batch file, so I suspect that this version will be the one to propagate in the future. For now, however, it is a big change, I need to know that it works better for everyone before I abandon the batch files. I'm not charging for the GUI.
