Digital BW, The Print

At what intervals does QTRGui check the monitored folder for new 
files?  I tried this feature for the first time and nothing printed 
for quite a long time.  Then, just as I was composing a message to 
raise this as a bug in V2.1.9 beta 1, the printer started up and the 
image came out.
