I believe IJC/OPM works on win2000 but I have only tested it on XP pro.
Better to ask at Bowhaus for an official answer.

Very gradual toning can be achieved because it depends either on how
you build your profile (you can do split toning within a profile too) or how
you build your alpha channels in photoshop.

The paper/ ink profiles are meant as starter profiles. Some come from
Bowhaus some from other users like myself. They may not fit your exact
set up. 
Example of profiles:
R200 - OEM inks - Costco gloss paper, EEM (Enhanced Matte)
9600 - OEM inks - Canvas sepia, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag
9500 - WarmTone Piezotone - EAM (Archival Matte), Moab Canvas
7000 - WarmTone Piezotone with MIS FS black - Photo Rag
4000 - OEM - H. German Etching
2200 - MIS_UT - Ilford Smooth pearl, permaJet mus. classic, Epson Luster
2200 - OEM - Concorde Rag, Wells River, EEM, EAM, Velvet FA, G.Etching, 
            P.Rag, Epson color Life, JetPrint Pro, Kodak Ultima, 
            Oriental FB Glossy, Red River UltraPro, Lyson Pro Gloss
2200 - Lyson Daylight Darkroom inks - DD Gloss, DD Matt


Depending on the set up profiles can be adapted to other printers with
the same inks - such as 2200/OEM profiles can easily be used for 
7600/9600 machines as long as they are linearized, and vice versa.
Likewise, one Hahnemuehle profile can easily be adapted to other H.
papers by mostly linearizing.
